Hello,
On my SB6120, I have been experiencing perceived throttling issues where after downloading a large file the download speed would drop to 1.5-3MBps and the upload speed would spike at around 15-17MBps on speedtest.net.
To test if this was just a modem issue, I purchased and am now using a Cisco DPC 3010. Right off the bat I noticed that the DS, US, online and link lights stay amber and don't turn green. I believe with the SB6120 that was indicative of a half duplex connection instead of a full. I'm not sure what the difference is on this modem.
Also, the modem won't pull speeds faster than 11-12MBps when I have the 50MBps plan. On a side note, the modem UI has a login userID and password. Is that something I'm allowed to have, or is that restricted to Mediacom technicians? Any assistance you can provide is appreciated. Below are the statistics displayed by my modem.
