[IA] Issues requesting new service

So here is my story: Last year we started looking at buying/building a new house. We found a lot that had a house on it that was torn down a few years prior. Before buying said lot, I called Mediacom to verify I would be able to receive service there, twice actually. While out at the property, I can see at the corner of my lot across the road is Mediacom running to the neighbors house. Service check online says they receive service there. After speaking to two different CSRs and having them both tell me they service the whole area, I went ahead to purchase the lot. I asked them both numerous times if they needed to go out to verify anything, and they said no, we service the whole town. They then said to call a few weeks before move in to schedule service install. Fast forward to last week, I call up and the CSR said they had to perform a serviceability check which would take 48 hours and he would call me. No call came. So I called back, only to find out the request was never submitted. He started but never finished. So the CSR that helped me out verified it was submitted and to call back in 48 hours if I didn't hear anything. Fast forward again after no call, I find out they won't make it out until 10/28 to verify service. No call AGAIN to inform me of this. We are scheduled to move in on 11/1 and figured this would be installed by then and up and running, but it doesn't seem to be that way. The CSR I spoke to today said she couldn't do anything to fix this even though the previous 4x CSR's dropped the ball on handling an address that wasn't shown to have service, submitting the service request, and following up with me stating it wasn't going to happen like they said. Any assistance would be great.
