Anyone else in the Quad Cities area getting horrible speeds after approximately 4:00p.m. every night?
Since mediacom decided to take off the 8th channel in my area, the speeds tanks after 4:00. I'm signed up for the 150d/l 20u/l, and I'm lucky to get 60 d/l after 4:00.
Nobody else at my house uses any more data at night than during the day. There aren't any unauthorized users tapping into my wifi.
It all boils down to the 8th channel. With that active, I got 140+ 24/7. With it gone... it's pathetic.
I'm still awaiting answers from Bainch and from MediacomChad about the ordeal. So I'm curious if anyone in the area has all 8 channels still, or having speed problems?
