Slow speeds in Leesburg, GA

I am on the 150/20 plan and I am unable to get more than 15mbps to Atlanta on speedtest. The Comcast server in Atlanta gives me 165-172 regularly. My upload speed is pretty much fine at 25. Anyone else experiencing very slow speeds? I am only getting 1/10 of my speed. I have tried other servers but all of them are giving me ~15mbps. Again, upstream speeds are fine. By the way, my cable modem is connected directly to my PC via cat5e. One more thing, a few servers here and there are giving me ~160mbit/25mbit. Just a couple. Most of the servers are giving me very limited speeds. I should be getting 170mbps not 17mbps. This just started happening today. It was intermittent earlier today and now it has taken hold on every speedtest server. Pings are normal. UPDATE: I called tech support. Modem was reset remotely. Nothing is wrong with my hardware. Speeds seem to be crawling back up to normal very slowly. I am getting over 100mbps but nowhere the ~170 I get on a normal day. I rebooted my computer and was still getting slow speeds. But now, however, the speeds seem to be recovering. I think the bottleneck was some Internet provider between Mediacom and the website/service I was trying to access. Maybe a major backbone was experiencing some sort of tech issues. I subscribe to Mediacom because they're the only ones that can offer the 170Mbps speeds in such a rural area with rock solid reliability. So, it comes as quite a surprise when speeds take a dive or something else goes wrong.
