Hi,
Like I said my internet install was today at about 11:30 local time. It is now 3:45 local time and I have no internet service. Only the Power light on my modem is lit. I called service. They tried to ping the modem with no luck. It's going to be two weeks before they can send a tech to fix my brand new service. Can one of you Mediacom folks try to help me out.
Details:
Service installed with everything working. Installer said signals looked great.
User service for a few hours with no issues.
Called tech support to baseline modem, so that I could use my own router.
While attempting to get router setup, unplugged Mediacom modem. When re-plugged. All lights out.
Called tech support. They tried to ping modem. No luck. Two weeks to get someone out to look at it.
