Has anyone called Internet tech support lately?

I have noticed at least on my account when I call tech support my call is directed to a glorified tech support person that does not have the ability to answer all questions. I am told there is a department that is now in place possibly for people who call tech support more than others. But I find that service not the greatest at all. Last call was a guy in Des Moines who huffed and didn't allow me to speak to a supervisor. My questions were simple and he could not answer. Very frustrating. Anyone else encounter this type of service? I don't know what is better talking to the Philippines tech support or these guys. :hmm: His name was Tim and funny how I called in later and was routed to the same individual. What is going on? Seems like my number on my Mediacom account is being internally directed to a certain CS Department. Why can I no longer speak to tech support? Does it still exists? What is going on?
