How many weeks does it take to get a M-Card CableCard from Mediacom?
Using Mediacom online support I requested a multi-stream CableCard on August 13. I received a reply that the card was available at the local office. After receiving a CableCard from the office I got home and discovered that I'd received an S-Card. I posted again on the support forum and explained the problem. Moderators Chris and Dallas responded and after a few posts they apologized and assured me that the local office had M-Cards in stock and that I could go there and swap. I returned to the office and waited in line for 30 minutes only to find that there were no M-Cards in stock. I again posted on the support forum and got another apology. The moderator said that they would set up a service appointment and have someone bring the card to my house. No firm date for an appointment has been set but the moderator said it might be on August 30th.
It shouldn't be this hard. August 30th delivery is OK but at least there should be a firm date.
