I see Cable Labs has certified the first five Docsis 3.1 modems. Comcast is already field trialing docsis 3.1 in customers homes. Hopefully this lights a fire under the rest of the companies.
As for fiber to the home in Davenport & Bettendorf. I still haven't personally spoken to anyone who has had it run yet by another company in the area.
