I have had intermittent service(only stays connected approx 1 min) since this morning. I call one service number that I had and got a message that Mediacom is investigating an outage in my area. Later, I called another number I have and at first the agent said no outage, suggested that I swap my modem at the Office here in town, then also scheduled an appointment (nearly a week out!). But at that time he couldn't get the appointment scheduled because someone else in my area took the appointment having the exact same issue. The agent then said we may be in unconfirmed outage. My service did come back up while I was out, but can't surf sites. Some apps on my phone working over WIFI. How much longer will I have to wait for this unconfirmed outage to be resolved. I work from home and my employer has already advised I will have to get another ISP or face loss of my job if issues take longer than 72 hours to be worked/resolved?
