[RANT] I guess Mediacom doesn't want my money

I scheduled a service call for today between 8 and 12 to have gigabit installed. It was scheduled last week, and confirmed on Friday. No one shows this morning. I call, and it's been put on hold, so that maintenance can do a line check to see if gigabit is even possible. No one bothered to call me. I move down to 200 megabit, so I can still get service today. Everything is scheduled for 1-5. I get a confirmation email. The person on the phone confirms with dispatch. I call again, 3 hours later, just to confirm someone is coming. I'm told no one is coming. This is horrible customer service. Two of the customer service reps were very rude. No one was willing to accommodate me. I scheduled for Monday, because I had the day off. If you don't want to do it on Memorial Day then don't have that open. If you're going to cancel on me then call. If you are going to cancel a second time and not bother to contact me, then maybe you could try and accommodate me. Maybe work me in today, instead of giving me the run around. I'm very disappointed.
