Have been experiencing dropped connections. Normally power cycling the modem would resolve for a while, then that started to not help. Called CS on Tuesday and a tech visited tonight.
Tech claims the signal levels are fine. At one point the connection dropped on the modem while he was handling it, and he said it must have came unplugged. But, I never saw the power light go out. He did swap out the modem for a different one. And he told me I should try swapping out the ethernet cable between the modem and router if problems persist. Personally the tech came across to me as a guy who just wants to complete as many trouble tickets in a day as possible, and not really investigate and fix an issue.
It seems to be an upstream issue as I have seen the upstream light turn off, I have seen upstream channels go completely dead on the status page, and I have seen all upstream channels drop from the status page.
On the old modem I did see T3 Ranging Request Timeouts, but have not seen any on the new one yet.
Test history is below, all tests dated 1/4/2017 or later are after the modem was replaced.

I cleared events in the event log after a modem reboot and only have one entry so far....
Date/Time Event ID Event Level Description
01/04/2018 22.15 68010300 04 DHCP RENEW WARNING - Field invalid in response v4 option;CM-MAC=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx;CMTS-MAC=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;
I also saw the following before I cleared the event logs when I re-booted the modem.
4000951501 provisioning complete warnings
Everything I have read shows this to be a problem on the actual line and not the modem.
