I bought Luma Surround Wifi but the speed was overall slower and while the signal was better at close range it quickly degraded and was basically unusable outside except right next to the house. During the time i had Luma i also had Wifi 360 installed to do a side by side comparison of which i liked better. After two weeks i sent the Luma back for a refund.
I have had Xtream Wifi 360 for 6 months. The modem and extenders setup in the same locations as the day it was installed. A Samsung GX-MC990CL modem and two Hitron HT-EMN2 extenders. The modem is setup on one end of the house, ext1 on the other end, and ext2 in the finished basement. There are over 20 devices connected to my network; smart tvs, three pc's, a laptop, 2 printers, android phones, 5 google homes, fire tv stick, two xbox ones, iphones, ipads, and various android devices. The three pc's and 1 smart tv are connected ethernet, everything else is wireless.
I have Internet 100 (100u/10d $74.99)
I know everyone here hates mediacom equipment; but, i am very satisfied with the signal quality and speed the extenders provide. I have consistent strong signals and speeds throughout the house and yard. I dont have cable so i stream everything. Even when my kids have friends over with extra playstations and phones connected, i very rarely have any connection issues or buffering problems watching tv shows or listening to music on the google home.
On the rare occasion there is an issue, like once every couple of weeks my kids complain that the xbox isnt loading or netflix keeps buffering, a quick unplug and replug fixes it.
tldr; it works and i am happy
