[IA] Issue with current IP range.

Hey guys, Please stick with me, as I am not overly technical when it comes to this kind of stuff. I use google a lot which can often be wrong. So I had a friend stay over for a small period of time not long ago, and I noticed during his stay that some services slowly started dropping quality (becoming unusable). He told me when he left that he was banned on a lot of the stuff he tried using while he was here, and maybe that was the source of my issues. I am no longer able to sign into accounts from those places, or make new accounts (it shuts those down it seems the second I try to create them or sign into them). I have heard back from one of them letting me know my 'Ip range' was banned on a date that falls within his period of stay. Instead of waiting on support tickets for multiple different services, I started looking up how to just change my Ip. What I landed on was I needed to contact my ISP, but the live chat wasn't very helpful at all and they ended up resetting my modem in the middle of the chat which didn't fix the issue. Is there a way to be moved outside of the current IP range I am in through mediacom? I am here for options, as I didn't like reading that I would potentially have to switch ISP. Thanks!
