This month, for the first time ever and with no changes to connected devices, usage patterns, we were hit with an overage. We have the 200 plan and jumped from an average of 1000 to over 2000 seemingly overnight (with no warning until we were at 98.3%). I called and posted about this on Mediacom's board with no real answers but apparently, others are reporting the same issue. I did change our wireless password, looked in the router to see if anything looked unusual (it didn't). We disconnected everything, and overnight our usage went from 98.3 to over 100%. We use Malwarebytes Premium and no alerts from that program. I ran a speed test and apart from the download speed being a little low (124), nothing looked amiss there. Can someone please tell me how to proceed to troubleshoot this problem? Thank you.
