With our current bill at $170+ and scheduled to increase another $20 or so in a few months at the end of another year of service it got me to checking rates for new customers. The same plan we currently have should come in around $145 for the first year with Netflix included. Retention was unable to match that offer so I scheduled a disconnect for the 12th of this month.
Since that time, I've been unable to access Mediacom's online service to sign up a new account. Does this site https://shop.mediacomcable.com/shop/addr?&id= work for anyone? I've tried multiple combinations of browsers, incognito modes, and disconnecting my phone from the LAN and using a cell signal to try and access it. No matter what service address I put in, eventually the search times out and gives an "Unexpected serviceability error."
Is it just broken for everyone or did we get totally black-listed? I wasn't exactly subtle about my reason for wanting to cancel or my intentions to create a new account right away.
