We found out today that my 89Yo mothers life alert was not working. When we called them we were told that Mediacom dropped life alert from their systems. Something about them no longer being able to process threw mediacoms systems. If it is known that this was happening and that mediacom was no longer going to carry life alert, why wasn't anyone notified. Had something happened to her and she was unable to use it and died from it then both mediacom and life alert would be held responsible due to neither one notifying anyone of the change.
Now is mediacom going to remedy this or an I going to have to find a different phone provider for her?
