I sent a DM to MediacomChad, but I thought I'd ask here too.
My Internet in Ankeny went down sometime early this morning. As far as I can tell the modem is synced OK. My router gets a default gateway of 173.29.224.1, but I don't get assigned an IP address. My problem looks exactly like this report.
When I run a packet capture on the WAN interface, I see a bunch of ARP traffic, but I can't connect to anything without an IP. When I contacted Mediacom Support, they scheduled a tech for next week Thursday. Is there anything else I can do to move this along a little faster?
