My parents and I are trying to see if we can get Mediacom at our house. The address is not in the system as serviceable, but our neighbors to both sides of us are able to get up to 1 Gig service and they said they put in a verify serviceability request for a tech to come out and check it. I've heard quotes from 24-48 hours, 3-5 days, and now 30 days. I'm so confused and it's really starting to irritate me that I can't get a concrete answer... and some of the customer service reps have been basically trying to get me off support ASAP - (asking do you have any more questions or can we disconnect) after every question I ask - felt kind of pushy to me. I keep checking back on the ticket, because we want to move forward and possibly get Mediacom installed at our address as we're really unhappy with our current provider, but they seem to be taking their time to get someone out here and not giving a concrete time frame. I've been told it's likely we would be serviceable and it's probably just an oversight in the system if our neighbors can get service, but we honestly just want a concrete answer and want to get the ball rolling I suppose. So if there's any information or anything you could throw my way, it would be greatly appreciated.
