I have a co-worker who has been going around in circles with Mediacom phone support about various billing issues. I think he has those ironed out, but he is now interested in purchasing his own cable modem instead of leasing.
Does anyone know if Mediacom will charge a fee for changing a cable modem (no tech on site, just calling in with the new MAC address of the new box)?
