Channel 762 has been included in Family cable HD online lineups since at least September 2 but no one I know with the Family cable package receives it. We do get the CBS Sports SD channel.
I've been posting on the Mediacom Service forum but the reps there seem not to read or understand my posts because they keep asking questions that are answered in the posts they are responding to. When I posted back to provide answers and mildly complain about previous posts apparently not being read, the new post is deleted from the public forum and I'm sent to a PM.
Local Mediacom people say that Family cable customers don't get 762 and they said my scheduled appointment for tomorrow is canceled. When I conveyed this information in a PM to the online service rep he responds that I should get the channel and that the appointment is still scheduled.
Please tell me who controls channel distribution to various service packages at the Albany headend? Is the online lineup in error? Is the headend misconfigured?
