In Mound, MN on 100mbit service from Mediacom. Has been great up until about 3 weeks ago. During day hours and up until about 10pm, bandwidth is terrible - typically about 15-20mbit (on my 100mbit service) against Mediacom's speed test page. During off hours, this can get up to about 75-80 which is what I would expect. Have been able to repeat this scenario for weeks. Slow during the day...picks up late at night.
The bottom line is, during daylight and peak evening hours, streaming services are TERRIBLE.
Just looking for a MediaCom rep to chime in and respond if we are oversold in Mound, MN (and the area) and if there are plans to alleviate the problem. Standard "support" chats reveal no problems with signal to my residence.
