So twice today browsing junodownload.com to buy a music album, I got a browser popup from Mediacom about a DMCA alert/notice and to enter the last four digits of my account number.
The first time I didn't even realize what it was and went on to another page simply thinking, "Hmm...I wonder what that was?". The second time I visited the site, it came up again I put in my last four digits of the account number, and the browser pop up from Mediacom went away. The pop up said it would display additional details after submitting, but I got nothing.
So I fired up a chat session with Mediacom and they didn't see anything on my account, but to call support. Phone support also did not see anything on my account.
So, I PM'd @MediacomChad earlier this afternoon, but in lieu of a response I'm wondering if anyone else has had this pop up? How can a browser pop up happen, but no actual person at Mediacom have any record of it and tell me to just disregard it?
