Hey Chad,
I hope you can help me out...
For the last few days my router log has shown "[Internet connected]" aprox every 20 minutes. This usually means that it has disconnected then reconnected.
Then this morning there was no connection at all. So I disconnected all 3 cables from the modem for about 3-4 minutes and then reconnected them. I reconnected the router and let it go through its power up sequence.
At that point I had internet again at about half the normal speed (I normally have 50/5). Now for the strangest part... It changed my IP address to someplace in Valdosta, Georgia (31601). Strange because I'm in Belle Plaine, Iowa (52208)!
I have since re-booted everything in order (including every device in the house that is connected) 3x. Each time I get an IP address in either Georgia or Florida.
While my D/L speed is close to what it is normally, there does seem to be a high latency/lag time that is giving me trouble with streaming videos that normally have no issues at all.
Any ideas what the problem is? Is there anything I can do on this end? I'm attaching screenshots from the modem in case that helps sort this out I PMed you my MAC address).
Thanks,
Styx_N_Stones
