I have Gigabit service which has been great until last week. SB8200. Only Internet, No TV, Cable not split from pole, goes directly in modem from pole. My VoIP phone service, VPN connections started dropping.
MediacomChad what do we do when our connection issues are so intermittent that the modem does not go offline but when I ping 8.8.8.8 I get dropped pings?
Support is useless, it goes over their head. They say they see a slight issue with upstream nothing with downstream. I still follow their request to power cycle the modem but this does not resolve the issue.

I do go through periods maybe 10-30 minutes where I have no dropped pings. I think all is well and then they come back for a while again.
