there use to be a way to access the hitronics cgvnm 2559 actual settings page wihtout using mediacoms crappy interface, but they changed that i guess, no you cant use the original devices interface onece modem is registerd. i didnt know if there was actually a way to do it anymore or if therere is a way the techs can unlock that from thier end to have access to the modems settings. ive done it before but they must have changed it. you use to be able to unhook the cable line and power cycle the modem with it disconected and then type in ip of the modem then /admin it would take you to the acutall device settings page and not mediacom control panel you could then save that page and access after even after you hook the line back up, but you cant access the modem till its linked to the service then even after its linked you cant access that orginal settings anymore, just the useless mediacom control panel.
