Good afternoon,
Yesterday afternoon while doing my online work at the house I lost internet connection, at the same time my cable picture became very distorted (pixelated, neon colors, sound coming in and out).
Called Mediacom support and did not get anywhere, turned modem on and off, hard reset, checked all connections with modem and TiVo box. As of right now I have a service appointment scheduled for next Wednesday. Hoping you guys and gals may at least have some knowledge as to what may be the issue. Only thing I can think of is a line issue???
Modem/Router: Hitron CGNVM
At this point the modem continues to cycle trough trying to connect I am able to get all lights solid except for the @ light, it will try for a few minutes and start over.
Like I said previously I have tried hard reset along with unplugging/replugging all connections. They also had me do a cable signal test on the TiVo and it came back with a peak of 90. Not sure what all that means however I would think the cable distortions and internet issues are related since they happened simultaneously.
Any help is appreciated.
