Have been a customer for the past 3 years. A week ago upgraded my service to the Internet 100 plan. It's great when it works. I was also a cable subscriber for 3 years until my service with a Tivo box went down. Called customer service and was told I'd have to wait 3 weeks for a service tech to come out. Totally unacceptable service. Cancelled Mediacom and called DirecTV - new service installed in 3 days. Now the internet issue. Modem won't stay connected. It's a direct shot to the modem - no splitters. It will reconnect if I disconnect the power and coax cable most of the time. Just tired of the constant interruptions. This isn't the first time - this issue has come and gone 2 or 3 times per year and it's never been in the house. Calling service support doesn't help - don't want to wait 3 weeks for a tech to come out and be told they can't find the problem. So here I am...again asking for help.
