I have a discount yearly on my 100mbps internet only service for $69.99/mo. But the house is now temporarily vacant so I wanted to downgrade my service. Chat support said the only lower package is 60mbps but it is the same price as my current service. Why would the slowest available be 60mbps and it is still expensive. This is why Telecom/cable companies should never be allowed to merge....no competition equals high prices and no consumer choice.
