For the last week to two weeks I've been having issues with high ping and recently connection loss. The ping issue happens consistently throughout the day, pinging to Google they normally sit around 20-30ms but will spike up to 100ms+. I'm guessing the recent connection loss is related to the high ping issues because the connection will only go out for a second and come back.
The router I have is one that is supplied by Mediacom, which I believe is a year old. The make and model is a Samsung, GX-MC990CL.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
