Outside signal corrupt

August 15th I called Mediacom to downgrade my cable but found it would be cheaper if I upgraded. August 16th Mediacom came out and upgraded my cable from the outside while I was at work. A few hours later I came home from work to find I had no internet. I called Mediacom and went through the automated troubleshooting system. That didn't work. I talked to a person and we troubleshooted together. That didn't work. She said they would not be able to send somebody out until August 23rd. Yesterday August 23rd Mediacom came out. After doing the basic troubleshooting they went outside and check the box only to find the signal is extremely weak. I knew it had nothing to do with anything inside and that when Mediacom came out on the 16th they did something to the box outside. So now they told me the repair people will be coming out to work on my box outside but we don't know when. I need internet for my job and this is highly inconvenient not to mention I lost a day's worth of pay having to be home yesterday. This is causing hardship and everything seems to be so vague. Is there anyway I can get somebody out here to fix the outside box? I need internet this weekend.
