I don't understand why it needs to be so difficult to cancel part of your service. I called to just cancel my TV service, but keep my internet. I'm tired of paying ridiculous prices of $160 plus tax for basic cable/internet60 and HBO. I don't understand why a simple request could not be made without having to call back when the Loyalty Dept is in. I work during their hours, and don't have time to call during the week. Me calling during the week means I don't get to eat lunch at work, and go the whole day with no food. Nor do I wish to hear their lame offers locking me into a contact for another 2 years to save $20/month in the end. Last time I got a "deal" they downgraded my internet without telling me, I would have never taken the deal knowing that. It's not worth it anymore when I can never find anything on it to watch, and still end up watching Netflix/hulu/Prime. I'm sick of paying for Sports when I don't watch them.
Why is it if you want to cancel your whole account they can process that, but not change your service?! Why are you willing to lose me completely, rather just comply with my simple request?
I spent 45min getting a run around only to be told they can't do that...call back next week.
